Ten boats and about twenty crew turned up at Fambridge on the late May Bank Holiday for the second of this year’s Crouch rallies. The weekend started in fine style with a meal at the Fambridge marina Bistro on Saturday evening and continued on the Sunday with hot sun and light winds for the ‘raid’ up to Battlesbridge for Roy Hart’s magnificent barbecue in the grounds of Battlesbridge Hall.
